Chief Joe Masterson Retires after 24 years of service as a volunteer
firefighter and 14 years as chief. Chief Mark Mattingly and the members of
the fire department and city council gave him a dinner where he was
awarded a plaque and coat. The plaque was made with memorabilia from the
old engine 1, a 1966 international howe. Joes Dad was chief of Loretto Fire
department from 1984 to 1988 with a total of 14 years service to the
department.
